With a medium to low volume low-mid pitch and a short sustain the Matt Halpern Double Down Stack can be played either way round providing you with a wide range of dynamic possibilities. You can customise your sound by changing the tension of the cymbals increasing it for a faster tighter tone or loosening it for long trashy tones with increased wash.
